Lower Primary Schools (LPS):

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks
• 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognized by RCI
• Valid ATET/CTET certificate for LP Schools
• Permanent resident of Assam
• Language-I or Language-II must match school’s medium of instruction
• Not more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 (as per Small Family Norms)

Upper Primary Schools (UPS):

• Graduate with at least 50% marks
• B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
• Must have passed ATET/CTET for Upper Primary Schools
• Language-I or Language-II must match the medium of instruction of the school
